Installation and Operation
The following tutorial video shows you how to install, configure and operate FS-ATC-Chatter.
Using The NavDataReader Tool
Although FS-ATC-Chatter ships with a default COM frequency database, those frequencies may not match the scenery files in your simulator. This is most noticeable when using the simulator’s ATC outside the U.S. and Canada where the default COM database center frequencies are less accurate.
The Open Source NavDataReader Tool can read your simulator’s scenery files and create an updated COM database that FS-ATC-Chatter can use. This tutorial video shows you how to install and run the NavDataReader tool.
ATC-Chatter with Pilot2ATC
The clips in FS-ATC-Chatter can be used in Pilot2ATC. This video will show you how to install the clips and properly configure Pilot2ATC to play them. The video uses the X-ATC-Chatter distribution as the example but the technique is the same for FS-ATC-Chatter. You just need to use the Regions folder in the FS-ATC-Chatter installation folder rather then X-ATC-Chatter.
