I’ve been using X-Camera with my entire fleet of X-Plane aircraft for many years now and as a IRL pilot I am beyond impressed with all that X-Camera enables me to accomplish. X-Camera brings my entire flight sim experience to life. From configuring sequences of cameras that follow checklists (helps me become familiar with cockpit controls layout when learning a new aircraft) to complete walk around flows configuring X-Camera is amazingly intuitive and effective. The education and training videos that Mark has created are absolutely the best resource when I began learning what X-Camera could do and how to go about setting these features and functions up for my aircraft fleet. And when new versions of X-Plane are introduced, Mark is immediately on top of anything and everything his community of users encounter — from features and changes X-Plane introduced that X-Camera needs to accommodate to user requests for new and/or different functionality — Mark is both responsive and in touch daily across his support forums and Discord channels. His expertise in software engineering and development is at the expert level in all regards, and he combines this together with his own personal IRL experience and abundance of aviation knowledge as a private pilot to bring us the absolute best of all worlds! I also use his X-ATC Chatter and X-KeyPad software applications, and both are equally unparalleled in form, fit, and function. Talking with Mark through the forums I’ve come to know him as both generous and meticulous in his contributions to the community. He cares deeply about everything his customers experience and all that he brings to them through his software programs that we use and enjoy. His support of us as we progress through various levels of learning and expertise as flight simmers is like having a check pilot in the right seat.

I am a dedicated user of Stick and Rudder products, and the two I rely on most frequently are ATC Chatter and X-Camera. ATC Chatter enhances my flying experience by closely mimicking the actual radio traffic I hear when flying in real life. It keeps me engaged in the simulation and adds a sense of realism to my activities.

Additionally, I use X-Camera in conjunction with the Elgato Stream Deck. This combination allows me to set up various camera angles and views and easily switch between them while flying, which greatly contributes to the authenticity of my flight simulation experience. I highly recommend these products.

Lastly, the support I have received over the years has been outstanding. Mark is always willing to follow up and try to identify and correct any issues as the versions change with x-Plane.

Went to default c172, and change the view a bit and saved it. Then went to a different location and tried to save it, It say’s it is save but went back to pilots view. cannot save.

On a different aircraft it created a profile with its own views, Some I like so I tried to add a keyboard shortcut, but unable to do so.

Tried to find help, but found nothing. Saw a vid on how to set x camera up and sound simple but does not work for me.

I am happy to use the x-camera for flights; I have adjusted the view in the cockpit to my taste. Great program. Thanks a lot

X-Camera for X-Plane is a must-have add-on for anyone serious about their virtual flying experience. It offers unparalleled control, realism, and customization, taking flying in X-Plane to new heights. Additionally, Mark’s customer service is outstanding. Thanks to X-Camera and Mark’s excellent service, my flying experience has not only improved but also become much more enjoyable. The best Camera settings for all my aircrafts. Never fly with out it. I use Saitek X52 and most of the buttons are assigned to a specific view.

Also this software maker Mark has the best after care service and he will look into to all matters without any delay.

I hope all other software makers try to do the same after care service like Mark is doing.

I have somewhere North of 35,000 hrs in everything from “Supercub” to Boeing 747 including 5 years as a simulator instructor on Boeing 707 and 727. In those days we did Pilot Checks and landings on the aircraft. My two sons have more than 30 years each of airline flying and two grandchildren in the pipeline.

After retirement (1999) I kept myself busy until I started to let the old man in. X-Plane was the answer. I quickly discovered X-Camera was the way for an old man to get around the cockpit. I have more than 50 aircraft in my X-Plane hangar including helicopters, GA, Airliners, and Bush Planes. I do not fly any until I have X-Camera set up. This is an inexpensive first class way to make simulator flying much more enjoyable. I also use TrackIR v5 and X-Camera works seamlessly with it.

I would also add that the support is as good or better than any on the forum.

I have used X-camera for over 3 years and would not like to fly without it. Setting up personal views is a breeze for each aircraft. Using two joystick buttons to switch between cameras in the current category and between categories enhances greatly the user experience in X-plane. I use two view categories normally, cockpit and external. I usually use all 10 available quick view in the cockpit where I can use the num keys to quickly switch views. For example I use the 5 key for a pilot view, the 8 key for overhead or upper panel views, 4 and 6 for port and starboard, 2 + 0 for pedestal and GPS/FMS/Radios, and the remaining keys as appropriate. Thus I have a spatial representation of the views based on the key numbers used. I use two view categories normally, cockpit and external. X-camera is the reason I gave up on FSX, P3D and MSFS as they do not have an easy usable equivalent capability.

I have being using X-Camera for quiet a while now.It works well and in fact is pretty much required with Trakir. I simply have my Pilot view with Trakir enabled and mouse view disabled. all other views have mouse view enabled and trakir disabled. Works really well. Setting up views once you have done a few does not take long, and Xcamera does generate views depending on what comes with aircraft. Just needs tidying up. No hit on FPS or performance and also integrated with some other plugins like xp-realiistic.. If you want multiple views I highly reccomend it.

If you are a keyboard/GamePad flyer, this is a MANDATORY download. You can quickly access your views to navigate through the cockpit, while on the go. This is bar non, my most used payware add on. It’s got MORE options than you can shake a stick at. Take time to discover all it can do, and then use your favorite features.
